Mohan
Purushothaman, Ph.D. has several
years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with particular focus on pricing
and contracting. Most recently, he spent 5 years at Roche where he headed the
pricing and contracting group. In this challenging assignment, he guided the
development of pricing strategies for new products and contracting
strategies for a number of products. He holds a Ph.D. in Health Finance and
Management from the Johns Hopkins University with a focus on Pharmaceutical
Pricing.
Daniela Abate, M.B.A. has over
8 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry. She had been
employed with Roche Laboratories, Inc during that time. Her initial
assignments have included positions within the Finance and Technical
Operations groups. Her more recent experience has included key assignments
within the Pricing & Contracting department and also Sales. She holds a
Bachelors degree in Economics with a concentration in International Trade
from Rutgers University. She also holds a Masters in Business
Administration with an emphasis on both Marketing and Finance from Montclair
State.
Nandu Nandakumar, Ph.D. has over a decade of experience in pricing/contracting, in a number of industries including oil, heavy equipment, and pharmaceuticals. His area of specialization is pricing analytics and he has helped several organizations including General Electric Energy Services, Roche Laboratories, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Schering-Plough. Dr. Nandakumar has a Ph.D. in Operations Management from Carnegie Mellon University and has taught at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University.
Parul Karnik recently completed her Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Johns Hopkins University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science from Davidson College. Through her extensive mathematical coursework, she has built a broad array of quantitative analysis skills, including modeling capabilities. In addition, she has practical software development experience having been a member of a small research team that created software to analyze large genomic datasets.
